Mural Class// 5 Week Course

Have you ever wanted to paint a mural or are you looking to expand your skills?

In this six week course we will cover everything from the basics to professional level skills needed to successfully complete a mural for your home and/or for a client. Great for both beginners as well as muralists looking to take it to the next level. In this course we will walk you through the creation of an 8'x8' mural on a removable substrate. The course will culminate in an exhibition of your mural in our gallery that will be open to the public and after the exhibition you can take your mural home!

All skill levels welcomed!

Classes will be led by professional muralist ULOANG and they will take place at Something Cool Studios in our outdoor area murals walls.

Weekly Breakdown:

Week 1:

Where to begin? The history of murals, murals today and tools of the trade.

Week 2:

How to design a mural. Composition, use of architecture etc.
‍

Week 3:
How to prep a wall. Drawing your mural large scale. Techniques for transferring your design on to a wall. What drawing tools to use.

Week 4:

Refining your drawing, blocking in colors, shading.

‍

Week 5:
Refining shading, the final stroke, sealing a mural.
